Anglia Ruskin University/  Renew Counselling Training  July 2011- Dec 2018

I designed, and managed the delivery of the DipHE in Counselling Children and Young People & BA(Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy in conjunction with Anglia Ruskin University. I managed  a training team of 12 and am responsible for academic development, research, clinical and ethical standards, budgeting course quality.

 BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy and on the Person-Centred Art Therapy Skills Certificate course. Modules and specialist areas include ; Counselling Practice Skills, Transpersonal Aspects, Introduction to Research, Personal and Professional Development, Development of Professional Practice, Supervision, Person-Centred Theory, and Establishment of a Therapeutic Relationship. I have taught at levels 2,4,5 & 6.  

Delivering CPD and Workshops 

Dandelion Training  2005- present

I have facilitated counselling skills training for staff at Addaction Drug Treatment Programme ,  Havering and Brentwood Bereavement Service. I run  workshops for the Person-Centred Art Therapy Association in London annually, focusing on practitioner skills training, and co-facilitate workshops for them twice a year.

External Examiner Glyndwr University 2014- present

I was appointed as External Examiner for the Diploma in Person-Centred & Experiential Counselling and BA (Hons)  in Counselling & Psychotherapy. This involves moderating work, monitoring standards, ethical and academic issues.

BACP MindEd , 2013-2014

I was appointed as session author on this project, authoring session on empathy, establishing a therapeutic relationship and entering the frame of reference. 

ABC Awards – 2013 – present

I was an External Examiner for a number of FE Counselling courses in and around London and Essex.

AQA - 2012 – 2015

I was Principle examiner and Lead Question Writer for Level 2 & 3 Counselling Courses. I have also been involved in developing a new programme of delivery for levels 2-6 with AQA.

 BACP Professional Education Development Forum 2011-2014

I was invited to the join the forum in 2011, and was an active contributor  with a number of forum tasks, including the mapping of counselling training provision across the UK.
